Though Lennox Lewis showed promise in a variety of sports during his youth, he chose boxing as his favorite medium and quickly became successful on the amateur circuit. Just one year after winning the title of world amateur junior, Lewis represented Canada in heavyweight boxing in the 1984 Summer Olympics. The boxer ultimately came to share a prestigious honor along with fellow boxing greats Evander Holyfield and Muhammad Ali by winning the Heavyweight Championship on three occasions. In 2002, Lewis was the clear winner of a highly publicized match with Mike Tyson. While he has retired from boxing, Lewis agreed to compete on the celebrity edition of NBC's business reality show The Apprentice. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi
