Actress Hilda Haynes got her start with the American Negro Theater in the 1940s and from there went on to appear in many theatrical productions. She has also appeared in a few films between the early '50s and the late '70s including Taxi (1953), Home from the Hill (1960) and Diary of a Mad Housewife.
