Fred Hamer

A veteran character actor from England, stout Fred Hamer had been a stage manager for David Belasco and appeared in the original Los Angeles production of Bird of Paradise. In films with Reliance and Fine Arts from the early 1910s, Hamer mainly played bit parts but was highly visible as the villain's henchman in the 1920 Elmo Lincoln serial The Flaming Disc. ~ Hans J.
