Queen Latifah may have lost at the Oscars on Sunday, but her winning streak at the box office continues.

Despite competition from four new pictures, "Bringing Down the House" was the #1 movie in America for a third consecutive weekend, taking in $16.2 million. Starring the rapper-turned-actress("Chicago") and Sunday night's Academy Awards host, Steve Martin, "Bringing Down the House" has made $83.4 million, according to studio estimates.

"Dreamcatcher," drawn from the Stephen King horror-thriller novel, was the weekend's highest new entry, sliding in at #2 with $15.3 million. (Click for photos from "Dreamcatcher.") Airline stewardess comedy "View From the Top" was #4 with $7.5 million (click for photos from "View From the Top"), while the animated kid flick "Piglet's Big Movie" debuted at #7 with $6.1 million. Rounding out the weekend's new releases, Cuba Gooding Jr.'s ("Jerry Maguire") "Boat Trip" took in $3.7 million to land at #10.

The rest of the weekend's top 10 includes "Agent Cody Banks" at #3 with $9.3 million for a two-week $26.6 million total; "The Hunted" at #5 with $6.5 million ($23.4 million, two weeks); "Chicago," which won six Oscars on Sunday (see " 'Chicago' Dances Away With Six Oscars; Eminem's Will Be Mailed To Him") at #6 with $6.2 million ($134 million, thirteen weeks); "Tears of the Sun" at #8 with $4.5 million ($37.9 million, three weeks); and "Old School" at #9 with $4 million ($67.1 million, five weeks).

"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" fell out of the top 10, landing at #11 with $3 million ($98.3 million, seven weeks), while "Willard," which debuted last week, was #12 with $1.4 million ($6.2 million, two weeks).
