Queen Latifah defended her box-office throne against a slew of newcomers this past weekend, as "Agent Cody Banks," "The Hunted" and "Willard" failed to end her reign.

"Bringing Down the House" was #1 with moviegoers for a second week, taking in another $22.4 million. The comedy, which pairs the rapper/actress with comedic legend Steve Martin, has taken in $61.6 million. (Click for photos from "Bringing Down the House.")

"Agent Cody Banks," starring Frankie Muniz of "Malcolm in the Middle," debuted #2 with $15 million, while "The Hunted" opened at #3 with $13.5 million. "Willard," a horror remake starring Crispin Glover ("Back to the Future"), was the weekend's other new wide release and opened at #8 with $4 million. (Click for photos from "Willard.")

The rest of the weekend's top 10 includes Bruce Willis' "Tears of the Sun" at #4 with $8.8 million for a two-week take of $30.8 million; the acclaimed musical "Chicago" (which also features Latifah) at #5 with $7.7 million ($125.4 million, 12 weeks); the mid-life crisis comedy "Old School" at #6 with $6.8 million ($60.9 million, four weeks); Kate Hudson's "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" at #7 with $4.8 million ($93.8 million, six weeks); Ben Affleck's superhero flick "Daredevil" at #9 with $3 million ($96 million, five weeks); and "Cradle 2 the Grave," starring DMX and Jet Li, at #10 with $3 million ($31.7 million three weeks).
