One of this week's two new movies may be naughty by nature, but the other is just plain naughty by design.
Naughty by Nature rapper Treach, once up for the role of Bishop in 1992's "Juice," a part that ultimately went to Tupac Shakur, heads up indie flick "Love and a Bullet" as a hitman who falls for a mob boss' girlfriend whom he's been assigned to kill.
"Fear Dot Com" is about a Web site that may be supernaturally causing a string of strange and grisly deaths. Stephen Dorff ("Blade") plays a cop who's investigating the creepy URL, in hopes of getting to the bottom of the mystery and finding the Web designers responsible.
"Fear Dot Com" is the only widely released picture hitting theaters this week, as the big studios pare down their post-summer offerings in order to gear up for some heavy-hitting fall and holiday releases.
A handful of new films — "Serving Sara," "Undisputed" and "Simone"— failed to scare up much business last week, as "Signs," "XXX" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember" continued to rule the roost (see " 'Signs' Back On Top As New Films Fail To Excite").
