A man facing mortality is re-introduced to his past in this drama from filmmakers Marco De Angelis and Antonio Di Trapani. Kenji (Hal Yamanouchi) was born and raised in Japan, but has been living in Italy for the past three decades, where he works as a journalist. Kenji has recently discovered he has some serious health problems, and thinks it's time he reconnected with his family back home. As it happens, Kenji's editor sends him to Tokyo on assignment, and during a visit with his mother, he's reminded of Noriko (Chiaki Oshima), a beautiful girl he loved as a young man and who is said to have spent the rest of her days for him to come home. At his hotel, Kenji is visited by Noriko's ghost, who speaks with him about the happy days of their youth. The next day, Kenji meets his teenaged niece Yuki (Yuki Iwasaki), and as they talk, he's reminded of the young Noriko who stole his heart years ago.
