Rose McGowan steps into the boots of Robert E. Howard's female warrior character, Red Sonja, in this Nu Image/Millennium Films production. Robert Rodriguez handles producing duties in this revamp of the barbarian babe whose tale was last seen on the screen in 1985's tongue-in-cheek outing starring Brigitte Neilsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
