This ABC reality game show featured a weekly roster of six contestants, either individually or in teams, who engaged in bizarre and offbeat sports competitions. Among the major events featured were "Interpretive Pizza Tossing," "Cocktail Juggling," "International Human Fireworks," "Blindfolded Archery," and "Extreme Unicycle." In an unusual move, the contestants were not confined to adults, but ranged in age from ten years old upward. After the audience in the studio and at home voted to pare the six contestants down to three, the "Master of Champions" was chosen by a three-person Panel of Champions, including baseball star Steve Garvey, gold-medal ice skater Oksana Baiul, and skiing champ Jonny Moseley. Co-hosted by Chris Leary and Lisa Dergan-Podsednik, the weekly, hour-long Master of Champions debuted June 22, 2006. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
