Blinde Passagiere

The Swedish comedy team of Pat und Patachon star in the goofy German comedy Blinde Passagiere (Stowaways). When a European circus packs up for a boat trip to South America, lowly animal attendants P & P are left behind. Our heroes stow away on the boat, causing all sorts of chaos as they elude capture. Somehow they find time to bring a pair of young lovers together and also manage to solve a shipboard jewelry theft. It's hard to describe the style or explain the appeal of Pat und Patachon, but at their peak they were as popular as Laurel & Hardy or the Marx Brothers. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
