Rock Band 2 is the sequel to the last year's award-winning music video game Rock Band. Like its predecessor, Rock Band 2 allows players to have the ultimate experience combining music and video games. You and up to three of your friends can take your garage band into the living room and live the rockstar life. Play the drums, guitar or bass guitar or sing lead vocals -- it's all up to you. You can also form bands and play songs in your living room or online with your friends.
Rock Band 2 also features 80 songs from a variety of artists, genres and time periods. Whether you like classic rock (AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, The Who), alternative (Beck, Smashing Pumpkins, Alanis Morissette), metal (Metallica, Megadeth), punk (AFI), grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam), indie (Interpol, Modest Mouse) or even new pop hits (Panic At The Disco, Paramore) there's something for everyone. And if you already own the original Rock Band game disc, you can export those songs to Rock Band 2.
If that isn't enough, you can DOWNLOAD HUNDREDS MORE Rock Band tracks and albums online! With songs added weekly, you and your band will always have something new to play.
But Rock Band 2 isn't just about new music. There are new features that you won't want to miss: Online World Tour, daily Battle-Of-The Band Tournaments, No Fail Mode and a real Drum Trainer. Rock Band 2's massive list of innovations also includes the ability to export your in-game band avatar to the Internet and order custom Rock Band merchandise, including apparel and figures.
