The 14th annual MTV European Music Awards took place on November 1, 2007 in Munich, Germany. Snoop Dogg who hosted the event, welcomed to the stage performers like Foo Fighters, who opened the show with "The Pretender" and Amy Winehouse who sang "Back to Black." Nelly Furtado won big, earning the award for Album of the Year while Most Addictive Track was given to Avril Lavigne for "Girlfriend."
