The 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards was definitely one for the books! After our hostess with the mostest, Bebe Rehxa kicked off the show, Bruno Mars took to the stage to give us a taste of '24 Magic,' just before DNCE performed a mashup of their hits 'Body Moves' and 'Cake by the Ocean.' Things got dancey when Martin Garrix and Bebe Rehxa performed 'In The Name of Love' just in time for Martin Garrix to accept the award for Best Electronic. Our sexy host showed off her moves when twerking with her crew, followed by Shawn Mendes bringing down the house with a performance of 'Mercy.'

But that wasn't all! Bebe Rehxa gave a shout out to the much beloved Prince, just after Twenty One Pilots accepted the award for Best Live. Zara Larsson slayed her performance of 'Lush Life' and 'Ain't My Fault,' while Shawn Mendes accepted the award for Best Male smiling ear to ear. Coming off those hot acts, Green Day took to the stage for the first time that night performing 'Bang Bang' and we got to catch a glimpse of Bebe Rehxa pranking DNCE. The Weeknd had our heads in space with a stellar performance of 'Starboy' just before Zara Larrson joyously received the award for Best New Artist.

And the performances kept on coming throughout the night, with international rock sensation Lukas Graham smashing their hits '7 Years' and 'You're Not Here' just before Idris Elba gave Green Day the biggest award of the night for Global Icon. The punk rock threesome then took to the stage for their final performance of the incredibly relevant 'American Idiot' just before Hillary and Donald sent us off with an ever-disturbing kiss.

We won't be forgetting that any time soon! Be sure to catch the full show any time and relive all of the amazing moments here.
