Get Registered Or Get Left Out
09.24.2004 7:45 PM EDT
No registration, no vote, no whining: It's as simple as that.
For all the hype around the presidential campaign, it all comes down to one simple transaction: You at the voting booth on November 2. But first, as you probably know, you've got to get registered with your state's election board or they'll turn you away. And for most states, the deadline to register for the election is October 1 — that's less than three weeks away.
Lucky for you, getting registered is a fairly
straightforward process. All you have to do is fill out your state's form and mail it to the board of elections. That's it. If you're ready to get registered now, click here and you'll be done in 15 minutes.
If you're still not sure whether you need to get an absentee ballot or work out other special arrangements, click here for all the resources you need to figure it out.
