Pak: You can't ever predict the future, but certainly in this case it is a challenge and it's a little unclear. What is the future of TLC? Have you guys thought about it?
Chilli: We never know what the future is going to bring. We just finished the video [for "Girl Talk"]. We'll wait for the next thing and just attack that as it comes. I'll definitely do a solo project, but right now I'm just so happy that we were able to finish the record, and I'm just so anxious to get it out there. I'm always very nervous at the beginning. ... It's almost like, "OK, we did it, so here it is. Do you like it?" Even before making the record, so many fans come up [and ask], "When's that TLC record coming out?" and we're like, "Shoot, we're waiting on it too." It's here and I'm just happy that it is.
Pak: Fifty years from now what do you want people to remember most about TLC?
Chilli: I want people to remember TLC as trendsetters, [to remember] the fact that we inspire so many people. We definitely represent independence. ...
Each day, I wanna get better. I want to be a better mommy to my son, Tron, and mold him and not break his spirit. He's going to be a special person and I'm responsible for that, just like [T-Boz] is responsible for molding [her daughter] Chase.
Pak: What you want to be remembered for is —
Chilli: Just being a great person. TLC is every woman.
T-Boz: The best thing you can leave is values and morals for your child. The things we have done in our career or things we are going to do, Tron and Chase can look back and go, "That was my momma."
