You probably want to keep your metamorphosis to a minimum, but like it or not, your feet are expanding and your balance may be off as you get bigger. What's a pregnant girl to do? How about walking, indoor cycling or yoga? The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America's prenatal exercise-education program says the more fit you are, the less severe back pain and ankle swelling will be. So why not go to Yoga Baby Studio in nearby Venice, California, learn a few moves, and practice them in that "prayer and meditation" room you're designing? "Pregnant women should ease into every stretch and hold back a little from the maximum stretch," Yoga Baby's Rocki Graham told Parents magazine. Also, avoid back bends, lying flat on your belly or back, jumping, or — our favorite — inverted postures.
