Your baby probably started kicking in the fourth month, but what started as butterfly flutters has become full-on jerks and jolts, hasn't it? You might've thought it was just going to get stronger and stronger until the baby kicked its way out of you, but it's actually about to slow down, now that your little one is getting larger and has less room. Plus, fetuses have sleep cycles, though unfortunately they're not likely to match yours. So by the third trimester, you can start monitoring daily kick counts to make sure it's on track (about four times an hour is good). But how do you tell if everything's OK if it's not moving and grooving? Most doctors recommend drinking a little bit of something sugary, like orange juice, to wake it up, and lying on your left side, with your hand across your abdomen. If you don't feel any movement in an hour or two, it's time to call your doctor.

Be sure to check back next week and every week as we add to our list of baby tips for Britney and expectant mothers everywhere. But remember, the best advice for you is the advice you get from your doctor.
