Dr. Dre - The Chronic
Arguably the best produced hip-hop album ever. Dr. Dre gave Snoop Dogg a full-thrust introduction to the universe, and the two proved to be hip-hop's most formidable duo.
The Argument
Well, there really wasn't much of an argument on this one ...
Shaheem Reid: I didn't think it was ever up for discussion whether or not The Chronic would make this list. It really defined a moment in history.
Rahman Dukes: The Chronic definitely inspired individuals such as Nas and Big, who went on to make classic albums.
Reid: A lot of cats say it should be number one. I don't necessarily agree with that, but it is up there.
