He's got a certain kind of animal presence, that Robbie Williams. There's just no fence-sitting when it comes the swaggering king of Britpop -- you either love him or hate him. And he wouldn't want it any other way, naturally.
After all, this is a guy who rips off every inch of his flesh in order to get the attention of a passel of foxy ladies -- oh, and you, of course -- in his new video for "Rock DJ," the first single from his new album, "Sing When You're Winning." Subtle as a sledgehammer, right? That's our Robbie.
Nudity, blood, and cannibalism aside, Williams is still quite the sensitive man (seriously!) and his latest release finds he's crafted more "Angels"-like introspective weepies that rest quite comfortably alongside his bombasti-disco stompers. He is, indeed, All Things to All People.
Well, we may be exaggerating a wee bit. Unlike Robbie, who likes to exaggerate a WHOLE lot.
MTV News: Docs' Nina Diaz headed over to Williams' cozy estate for an "MTV Cribs" shoot, where she talked to him about his new album, life and love, bizarre revenge fantasies involving paparazzi, and his dream to work with Dr. Dre.
And, as always, some of the things that come out of Robbie's mouth should be taken with approximately 12,983 grains of salt. You've been warned...
