MTV: And you recorded this album in record time, right?

DEVIL DOLL: Oh yes.

MTV: What was that process like?

DEVIL DOLL: We literally flew into the studio, plugged in our guitars, jumped in there, just played the songs...

VAMPIRE GIRL: We screamed a lot.

SHE-ZILLA: Screamed for dear life.

DEVIL DOLLL: We brought a few earthlings in New Orleans into the studio with us, mixed up some fabulous martinis...

VAMPIRE GIRL: Drank them down.

DEVIL DOLLL: Screamed more, and made them scream too.

SHE-ZILLA: We began to have a very good time.

VAMPIRE GIRL: Oh and we hollered some.

DEVIL DOLL: And then it took a whole other day to mix down, that was kind of the drag.

VAMPIRE GIRL: Well really a whole other night.

DEVIL DOLL: Night yeah.

MTV: So what was the mood like in the studio?

SHE-ZILLA: Oh it was a party. It was very glamorous, it was very fun and everyone in New Orleans was very sweet to us. They were very loving.

MTV: Do you think that mood comes across on the album?

VAMPIRE GIRL: Oh definitely.

DEVIL DOLL: I've heard tail that it does.

VAMPIRE GIRL: Goodness.

MTV: How did you guys all get together?

DEVIL DOLL: We just bumped into each other out in the universe one day.

VAMPIRE GIRL: We were all jetting around.

SHE-ZILLA: Well we got in a little bit of a wreck.

DEVIL DOLL: You don't have to talk about it.

VAMPIRE GIRL: She-Zilla drives like a nut.

DEVIL DOLL: But when we all bumped into each other it was fate because all of our spaceships matched, all of our outfits, we're very similar as you can see. So we figured we should probably get together and do something.

MTV: So what were you listening to on Monster Island Planet?

DEVIL DOLL: Cheap Trick.

SHE-ZILLA: Cheap Trick.

DEVIL DOLL: We just like them.

VAMPIRE GIRL: They're just so glamorous.

SHE-ZILLA: They're very glamorous and rock 'n roll.

DEVIL DOLL: We don't catch much out in the universe, I mean certain things...

VAMPIRE GIRL: There aren't many bands on Monster Island Planet.

DEVIL DOLL: Besides us.

MTV: So then why earth?

VAMPIRE GIRL: 'Cause it's where Cheap Trick is from.

DEVIL DOLL: And since we've been here we've found other bands and people to idolize.

MTV: So who else are you idolizing now?

DEVIL DOLL: Conan O'Brien.

SHE-ZILLA: Conan O'Brien.

DEVIL DOLL: Fiery redhead.

VAMPIRE GIRL: I currently idolize Johnny Stratosphere.

SHE-ZILLA: Oh yes. Surf guitarist extraordinaire.

VAMPIRE GIRL: He's way out there.

DEVIL DOLL: She's also taken a keen liking to Evel Knievel. We've been reading all about him.

VAMPIRE GIRL: He's the only person as daring as she is.

SHE-ZILLA: T-Rex.

DEVIL DOLL: Of course.

MTV: How are shows here different from back on Planet Monster Island?

DEVIL DOLL: Well they treat us more special here.

SHE-ZILLA: The people look different.

VAMPIRE GIRL: They're smaller and they have less wigs.

SHE-ZILLA: Well in New Orleans there are many, many wigs.

VAMPIRE GIRL: Yes, but other places not so many.

DEVIL DOLL: Not so many wigs. Monster Island Planet has more. We're just the norm.

SHE-ZILLA: Yeah. We seem to get very interesting looks and comments here.

VAMPIRE GIRL: People do like to stare.

SHE-ZILLA: They like to touch us and to say hello.

VAMPIRE GIRL: But we don't let them.

DEVIL DOLL: And take pictures.

VAMPIRE GIRL: Oh yes, which we love.

DEVIL DOLL: That doesn't happen on Monster Island.

SHE-ZILLA: I had to learn to write my name.

VAMPIRE GIRL: That took forever.

SHE-ZILLA: That was very fun. Wow.
