MTV: You seem like you have an extensive knowledge of classic
B horror films, and with Halloween coming up, people are going to rent
the same stuff over and over again, so what film would you recommend to
folks this Halloween?
SHE-ZILLA (drummer Carol Cutshall): "Godzilla."
DEVIL DOLL (guitarist Sean Yseult): Of course She-Zilla
would say that.
VAMPIRE GIRL (guitarist Katie Campbell): Let's see...um
"Dracula."
DEVIL DOLL: I've always been in love with "Frankenstein,"
you know he's my favorite, but one of my favorite movies back home is
"Spider Baby."
SHE-ZILLA: Oh "Spider Baby."
VAMPIRE GIRL: I would have to say "House on Haunted Hill."
Very, very spooky.
DEVIL DOLL: Especially if you see it in Emergo-vision.
VAMPIRE GIRL: Oh yes.
DEVIL DOLL: It is fabulous.
SHE-ZILLA: What about "The Tingler."
VAMPIRE GIRL: Gives me chills just thinking about it.
MTV: What the most difficult part of taking a show like
this on the road?
DEVIL DOLL: Vampire Girl's coffin.
VAMPIRE GIRL: We can only travel at night, so it puts a
little crimp into our schedule.
DEVIL DOLL: It's very difficult.
SHE-ZILLA: Lugging Vampire Girl around it's just...
VAMPIRE GIRL: Hey, what are you trying to say.
SHE-ZILLA: It's a pain… Lugging Vampire Girl around is
very, very tiresome and very cumbersome.
VAMPIRE GIRL: I don't think I want to hold the mic up if
your going to say things like that.
MTV: This isn't causing any kind of internal friction, is
it?
DEVIL DOLL: Oh no.
SHE-ZILLA: We wouldn't dream of going anywhere without our
Vampire Girl.
DEVIL DOLL: We love our Vampire Girl.
VAMPIRE GIRL: Thank you.
MTV: I understand that you shot a video for "In The Night"
recently?
DEVIL DOLL: Yes we did.
MTV: How was the shoot?
DEVIL DOLL: We had a fabulous director named Chris Lee. We
were down in New Orleans and we were basically just running about doing
our daily life.
VAMPIRE GIRL: International jet setting.
DEVIL DOLL: Flying around the world.
SHE-ZILLA: Yes. Flying around the galaxy.
DEVIL DOLL: Playing parties.
VAMPIRE GIRL: Looking glamorous.
DEVIL DOLL: Pool parties. They don't have beaches in New
Orleans so we have to play pool parties.
