Ana Maria: We're all still ourselves. When you're in the public [with] girls that are a lot younger, maybe you do watch yourself a little bit more, but I don't think any of us … we're all pretty natural.Ivette: We're adults, so we try to keep true to who we are as people. We never want to pretend we're 15 or 16. So we do adult things.
Rosanna: Go clubbing, have parties.
Maile Misajon: As far as image though, we don't wear anything we …
Ivette: … wouldn't normally wear
Maile: We're not over the top. We're definitely not trying to make a statement. We're all just normal girls who like to put on a little makeup and dance onstage and sing.
Ivette: We're not rated R.
Maile: We're so not rated R.
Rosanna: Maybe PG-13, 13, 13 [pointing], but [laugh].
Maile: That's Rosanna [she's pointing to], … no, I'm just kidding.
Nicole Scherzinger: She's PG-13.
Ivette: Maybe she is.

MTV: There are people who watched the show and enjoyed it, but don't get the concept. They would say you were put together, you weren't friends who grew up together. They might say, "How can you create anything artistically valid?" What would you say to those people?
Rosanna: The word "manufactured" has come up. For us it's like people will say what they're going to say and our focus is to have fun. We feel our coming together was so natural, so organic. Not in terms of the audition, but in terms of who we are. Our personalities really complement one another. Living together for six months was great, because we really got to get that sense of bonding that other people would have if they were in a garage band or if they grew up in the same neighborhood.
MTV: Nicole, you toured with Days of the New, what do you think [leader] Travis Meeks would think of Eden's Crush?
Nicole: I love Travis. He's a really awesome person. I don't know what he'd say about Eden's Crush. I haven't spoken to him since this whole thing started but he's on his own page, doing his own thing. I don't know what he'd say.
Maile: It's hard to imagine what he'd say, going from what she did with a rock band to having people view what she's doing now. What we're doing now [is strictly] pop music. All of us were doing Broadway [before].
Rosanna: In defense of Nicole, if you know her well enough you know she's capable of being a chameleon with her voice, and that's awesome.
Ivette: As we are all. That's the cool thing about our group. We were put together, but there are so many cool things about us and there are so many artistic things we are working on for our second album. We go from loving Bette Midler to Lenny Kravitz to Luis Miguel to Moby.
MTV: You've already started working on the second album?
Ivette: We all write, so we've all been thinking about collaborating [and drawing on] our Hispanic background and Latin music and Hawaiian music.
Maile: We actually just finished a Spanish version of our ballad ["Love This Way"], which will probably be our next single. Who knows? We might do a Spanish album. We've already cut three or four tracks, so you never know.
