On June 21, the day after they released their much-anticipated third album, "White Pony," the Deftones took to the stage at Philadelphia's Electric Factory to kick off a lengthy U.S. tour to introduce its new music directly to the band's devoted masses.

Masters of skewed, raw emotion, the band poured itself out in every conceivable way onstage; the sweltering conditions inside the club, compounded by the audience's ardent reception, left everyone involved in the event gratifiably drenched by evening's end.

MTV News' Brian McFayden spoke with the band both before and after the passionately sweaty gig and heard them out on all topics, including frontman Chino Moreno's legendary excursions into the audience, the bandmembers' unusual way of weaseling out of driving duties on tours past, and the downside of wearing Gucci slacks onstage.

You'll find those conversations, as well as scads of in-concert and interview footage you can't see anyplace else, right here in our MTV News Online tour feature.
