MTV NEWS: So how was the show today.
GIBBY HAINES: It was incredible. It was killer. It was stupendous. I can't believe it. It was mind blowing. I was totally blown away. I couldn't... I saw the crowd, they rocked. Paul, what do you think?
PAUL LEARY: Ditto.
MTV NEWS: Do you guys know what these dust things are?
GIBBY: How dusted things are, what?
MTV NEWS: The dusting that we just saw, do you know what that is?
GIBBY: It's a little miniature tornado.
MTV NEWS: Where there any of those going on during your show?
GIBBY: Yeah, all the time. Our set was one big dust devil. I don't know. I don't open my eyes. Do you open your eyes?
PAUL: I don't know, but I wrote home to my dust devil back at the ranch, back home. I keep in touch.
MTV NEWS: How did you guys survive the heat today? Was it a problem at all?
GIBBY: We were in the shade the whole time and this place in here is air- conditioned. I don't know about them, I feel sorry for them.
MTV NEWS: It's OK on stage?
PAUL: Oh, it's a lot better than playing in a sweaty club where you are breathing
human sweat and other things.
MTV NEWS: What was the wildest thing that you saw in the audience today when you were playing?
PAUL: A fat girl in a bikini.
GIBBY: Well, I mean she was flashing him the whole time, but I guess nipples from the fat girl in the beginning.
MTV NEW: What are some of the things that Butthole Surfers fans do at your shows?
GIBBY HAINES: Generally pass out and get banged against the bumper against some like late model Ford or something that some bouncer seems to throw them up against.
