Teen idols aren't supposed to lastforever.

At least, that's the way the pop culture laws are written. The highway islittered with memories of performers who once burned brightly, and then fell morequickly than the posters of them that were hastily taped to bedroom walls acrossthe country.

However, with a new breed of boy bands topping the charts, some members of theold guard have returned, taking another stab at pop fame.

Menudo alum Ricky Martin, former Take That member Robbie Williams, and one-timeNew Kids On The Block Joey McIntyre and Jordan Knight will all return to recordracks this year, boasting older, wiser versions of the artists that girls onceswooned for.

MTV News caught up with these performers, and addressed the good old days andheir hopes for this time around. You can find those remarks, and check out theboys then and now, in this MTV News Online feature.
