It's been five years since hard rock masters AC/DC delivered a new album... five long years.
No fresh growls from the throat of frontman Brian Johnson... no new riffs from the fingers of guitarist Angus Young... yes, they were dark days indeed. But the world may now rejoice as one of rock's finest creations has returned for another round.
With "Stiff Upper Lip," AC/DC once again returns to the stadium rock boogie the band has been delivering for years. But hey, when you're responsible for some of hard rock's finest moments, why mess with perfection?
When MTV News Online's Robert Mancini sat down with Johnson and Young, the conversation was naturally consumed by talk of that classic sound and how the band has avoided the temptation to do anything other than rock.
"Less is best," Young would say of the band's approach to its art. Fortunately for fans, that's not our approach to this feature. Here you'll find Young and Johnson's thoughts on their sound, their future, and why they keep doing what they do best.
You'll find our conversation with the band, as well as plenty of RealVideo, right here in our MTV News Online feature.
