10. More "Idol" means more controversy.
If you thought last year was insane — between Mario Vazquez's sudden drop-out, the wrong-voting-number incident, Paula's neuropathic disorder, the surfacing of Scott Savol's domestic-abuse and Bo's drug charges, and Corey Clark's ... ahem ... extracurricular activities — just wait until this season.
We can't tell you what's gonna go down, of course, but each season's gotten wilder and wilder, so it's gotta be big. Ryan Seacrest is due for some drama. It's been a while since a finalist has gotten the boot. An "Idol" sex tape, perhaps?
"I never think of it as a scandal, because I've worked in the music business for 25 years, so it's just par for the course," Randy Jackson figured. "When you think about the music business and all that's happened in rock and R&B and hip-hop and everything, it's like you're dealing with people and sometimes people have problems." Amen.
