"I had that exact same [white Mercedes-Benz] in my neighborhood that I had in the film. When I turned 19, I got it. I had no license. I actually had dealership plates. I bought my car at Jackie's on Queens Boulevard. [The dealer] kinda looked out for me, gave me the temporary inspection sticker inside of the car and he just left dealership plates on it. Because I was buying the car from him in cash, I just owed him $8,000 for it. At the time the car was like $68,000. He was like, 'You can just drive it until you give me the $8,000, then you can find somebody to register and insure it for you.' "
