North Conduit Avenue
Young Curtis Jackson has his first dreams ...

  North Conduit Avenue
"The only times you see cars like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini or a Bentley in my neighborhood is if you stand by North Conduit. My grandmother's house is right off the parkway. We used to kind of stand there and watch all that ride by. You'd see something like that maybe once in the whole day. It'll usually be people traveling from maybe Long Island to [Manhattan]. For me growing up, success rolled by on four wheels. It would be the first thing that we purchased if we came into some money: wheels."

Outside Grandma's House
Where 50 got shot ...

"When I got shot, my grandmother was in the yard, in her garden. If my grandmother screamed, I didn't hear it. I was staying here at the time. My son was inside the house. He heard the shots. One of my friends was in the car waiting for me. He had somebody in the passenger's seat. There was somebody in the front driver's seat, I got shot in the back driver's side seat. There's a scene in the film when Junebug shoots a police officer, that's more accurate of what happened to me. They pull to the side and the guy shot through the back window into the car. I got taken to the hospital in the same car I got shot in. I didn't wait for the ambulance. They actually put brown paper bags on my hands [to detect gunpowder residue] when I got to the hospital. They wanna see if you was shooting back."
