It is part of the Xmedia group of societies at the university and affiliated with the Student's Guild. Most of the station's content can be found on the YouTube channel. History: XTV was founded in 1991. Originally situated in Cornwall House on Streatham Campus, it was moved to Devonshire House in 2012 and now shares the Media Suite with the university's student newspaper Exeposé. At the NaSTA conference in 2012, XTV was chosen as the next year's host. "NaSTA40", the ruby anniversary of the conference, was held in Exeter during April 5-7, 2013. Current Shows: In 2012/13, XTV has produced and published a number of shows: Cameo - Film show, The Venue - Music features, Uncovered - Features on local history/events, XTV News, Sketchpad - Animation, Square One - Sports show, Bang + Whimper - Comedy sketch show, , Other productions from 2013: Intimacy - a short film in cooperation with EUTCO (Theatre Society), Stolen - Short drama, NaSTA40 - Live broadcast of the awards ceremony, DebSoc Broadcast - Live broadcasts of various debates held on campus, , In addition, XTV takes on commissions from third parties, the Students' Guild and its societies and covers single events such as the BBC's Children In Need, which was broadcast from the university in 2012.
