Following the buzz X-Change and Good Money have both created as individual artists over the past few years, Elogikal Music Group is excited to announce the release of their joint debut album, Living The Nitelife, available worldwide on July 31, 2012.
Living The Nitelife brings a new wave of sound to “hip-pop” with critics often comparing them to the Neptunes for their crossover rap lyrics mixed with big 808s and large pop synth melodies. X-Change's ability to create catchy melodies, both at the keyboard and vocally, are mixed with Good Money's dynamic flow. The first single "I See It In Your Eyes" quickly caught the attention of DJs worldwide landing at the #8 most downloaded track of the month on whitelabel.net. Additionally, the promotional teaser music video for "College Party Drunk" had over 100,000 YouTube views in its first month of release.
The advanced album release party will be June 29, 2012 in Mount Clemens at the Emerald Ballroom, with a follow up worldwide album release party in late July 2012 along with numerous club appearances. The next singles slated for release and accompanying lyric and music videos are “Smoke Coming All Off Me”, “I’m Trying To Take You Places”, “Nitelife”, and “Yeah! I Think It’s Going Down”.
Good Money has had huge international success in the past writing and performing vocals under the name Coon Daddy on Detroit Ghetto Tek Classics (“Player Haters In Dis House”, “See U No Mo”, “Get Yo Jit On”). Good Money has also worked with Trick Trick, Proof of D12, MC Breed, etc. along with touring and MCing in Germany, Austria, Brazil, etc.
X-Change is a renowned DJ and budding recording artist, with his remixes constantly charting in the iTunes Dance Top 100 since 2010. X-Change has also produced and written songs with numerous artists (Marc Elliott, LEWD Society, Big Nab, etc.), DJ'ed major festivals (Movement 2008/2010/2011), and has a #1 record on beatport.com DJ Tools Chart (Scratch Weapons & Tools Vol 1).
X-Change and Good Money met in late 2010 and began working on a full-length album. Living The Nitelife is the result of this collaboration. They also formed a team around themselves to work on promotions, clothing, graphics and marketing. At SXSW 2012 numerous label A&Rs and marketing companies gave a lot of positive feedback on the Living The Nitelife project.
