William Guest (born June 2, 1941,Atlanta, Georgia) is an American R&B/soul singer, best known as a member of Gladys Knight & the Pips. He is Gladys Knight's cousin. Guest has resided in the Detroit area since the mid 1960s. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
Following his stint with The Pips, he and fellow Pip Edward Patten formed Patten and Guest Productions, and following Patten's death in 2005, he continues to manage artists though the Crew Entertainment company he formed with members of Patten's family.
In 2013, Guest and his sister, Dame Dhyana Ziegler, Ph.D., released his autobiography Midnight Train FROM Georgia: A Pip's Journey (Branden Books, Boston, MA, USA) about his life and career.
