Wat Tyler were an English novelty/punk band of the late 1980s and 1990s, fronted by Sean Forbes alongside Andy Tuck of Thatcher on Acid. The band were known for their eclectic style, insightful political commentary, surreal humour, and inside jokes, and produced a number of EPs and albums on different record labels, including their own Rugger Bugger label and Lookout! Records. They took their name from Wat Tyler, the leader of the English peasants' revolt of 1381.
Sean Forbes also formed mock Oi! band Hard Skin, which is still active.
