Early career (2006) edit:
The band formed in January 2006 in Shore Points, New Jersey. They released their self-titled two song demo Waking the Cadaver in 2006 with two tracks which are "Chased Through the Woods by a Rapist" and "Blood Splattered Satisfication".
Preverse Recollections of a Necromangler (2007-2009) edit:
On November 21, 2007 their debut album "Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler", was released on Necrohamonic Records.
Beyond Cops, Beyond God, touring and future plans (2010-present) edit:
On August 10, 2010, Waking The Cadaver released their second full length album titled as "Beyond Cops. Beyond God." Waking The Cadaver supported tours for death metal bands such as Napalm Death and Immolation. As of the future, the band plans on touring persistently and writing new songs.
"Real-Life Death" and new single (2013-present) edit:
On January 19, 2013, it was confirmed the band released a new single called "Lumped Up", which will also be featured on their new album. The band also plan to release a new album called "Real-Life Death" most likely in the summer of 2013. The band are confirmed for joining the studio on January 26 during 2013 to record the album. It will be recorded at Full Force Studios with producer Joe Cincotta.
