Vincent Vega is an up and coming lyricist hailing from Cincinnati, OH that specializes in hip hop. Deciding to fight the temptation of today’s cliché artists, Vega uses his simple formula he calls “Beats & Rhymes”. Without glorifying violence or negativity, Vega insists he isn’t a rapper and uses the genre “motivational music”, by speaking on the recession and other real-life issues, Vega is considered a revolutionary. Vincent Vega’s purpose is to resurrect traditional hip hop by putting lyrics back to the forefront. What started out as a hobby for Vega eventually turned into a mixtape release (2004) with Frederick Douglas, AKA FREC together they formed the group “THE WRITERS WORKSHOP” with FREC doing the majority of the production. Implementing various styles, rhyme schemes, concepts and ideas, Vega is determined to be the throwback MC that true hip hop fans deserve. Upon completion of the debut EP “American Reality” Vega is currently branching out and working with other artist and producers as well as performing to perfect his craft. Constantly creating new tracks, the blue collar MC is lining up shows across the region. Vincent Vega is a lyrical force determined to put quality of music over quantity of music.
In 2010, Vega has shared the stage with the likes of J.Cole, Ghostface Killah, Nappy Roots, K. Michelle, The Gza, Joell Ortiz, Redman & Method Man and Sheek Louch.
