Talented Latin producer Tommy Torres became a solo artist with the release of a self-titled album on June 19, 2001. Puerto Rican-born Tommy Torres learned how to play violin and keyboards at a young age and started composing while attending high school. He improved his skills while studying at Boston's Berklee College of Music. After living in New York, the young musician moved to Miami in 1998. He soon became the producer of Latin pop act MDO, wrote "Llegar a Ti" for Jaci Velasquez, worked with Son by Four, and arranged "El Amor de Mi Vida" and "Fuego Contra Fuego" for Ricky Martin: La Historia. On his own, Torres has continued to release albums including 2004's Estar de Moda No Esta de Moda and 2008's Tarde o Temprano. In 2012, Torres delivered his fourth studio album, 12 Historias which featured a duet with Nelly Furtado. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
