“I wanted to do something more, something different…something that changes lives, leaves an
imprint…So I started making music.”
17 year old Tim Hatten is a Texas native currently living and attending high school in Perryville, Missouri. Like most Texans it seems Tim was born with a guitar in his hands and the ability to turn out universally appealing acoustic pop songs. Tim’s original songs evoke emotion while providing positive and uplifting messages. Tim’s songs can tell a story with notes and lyrics that all ages find appealing.
The move from Texas to Missouri in 2008 fueled Tim’s determination to create music. His expe-riences provided material that enabled Tim to make his songs his own. Tim stepped away from the usual expectations of country kids in a country town who typically grow up to work on the family farm. Tim desired to do and be something more. He wanted to entertain and make an impact upon other’s lives with the music he produced and so Tim’s journey in music began.
In 2010, Tim started and continues to produce original music in earnest. Tim plays local shows and festivals as often as his school and work schedule will allow at his young age. Tim is very proactive with his career aspirations for music.
Tim knows and understands that his best resource for feedback and inspiration comes from his fans. He has built a very active Twitter following of over 25,000 fans and another five thousand plus follow Tim on the social media site Facebook. Tim makes frequent updates on both and has plans to chat with and perform for his fans using internet outlets such as Ustream.
2012 proved to be a big year for Tim as he came to the attention of a prominent online music magazine HighwireDaze.com, a Los Angeles based internet music magazine that has interviewed Tim twice in the last 2 years. In the summer of 2013, Tim assembled a video production team made up of his friends at his high school and created a professional quality music video of his current single “The Way We Fall” available for viewing on YouTube. The single “The Way We Fall” is enjoying a 5 hour rotation for play on the HighwireDaze.com Live 365 Internet radio platform.
Tim’s early work included covers of the Never Shout Never song “Dare4Distance,” Mayday Parade’s “Miserable At Best” and an unreleased original “You Make My Day!” Tim’s current original “The Way We Fall” is being distributed on the major digital media outlets iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Spotify. Tim continues to write new music and seeks opportunities to perform for his fans and fans-to-be.
Tim is a member of Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), one of the leading agencies in the U.S.A. for music composers/creators.
Tim is currently unsigned and actively seeking management representation.
