Studio FM In just over a year, British band These Reigning Days rise has been meteoric. Fronted by ex Quails lead singer/songwriter Dan Steer, they are fast establishing a reputation as an impressive live band playing grown up indie rock layered with synths, keys, guitar, drums and harmonies. They started their gigging career supporting Mercury darlings Metronomy andThe Pigeon Detectives and toured this winter in The Alps. This month they are off to Rome to support Echo and The Bunnymen and play a showcase to coincide with the release of their first single in Italy. This year the band were selected to showcase at the prestigious music industry summit Musexpo in LA and as a result of their performance, they now have considerable label, publishing and sync interest. They have just completed their debut album with producer Yoad Nevo (Goldfrapp, Pet Shop Boys, Sugababes, Bryan Adams etc). The first single Changes enjoyed phenomenal reviews when it was released in the UK and is being released in Australia and the video is currently being shown on Q TV. The album will be released in the UK next Spring. With The Quails, Dan Steer supported Muse, The Kooks, Motorhead, Newton Faulkner and played at numerous festivals including the Radio one stage at Latitude. These Reigning Days band have a number of confirmed festival dates for next year including Glastonbury.
