Sunday's Best was formed by guitarist Pedro Bonito, drummer Ian Moreno, and vocalist/bassist Edward Reyes. The trio recorded a 7" single and compilation track with recording engineer Tom Ackerman, formerly the guitarist and vocalist of Skiploader; Ackerman wound up accepting an offer to become the group's drummer, and Moreno switched to rhythm guitar.
