Founded in the fall of 2007 by close friends, Damon Hardjowirogo and George Stroud, Starscream is a two-piece band that create deceptively complex and progressive compositions through the use of the sound-chips found inside of the Commodore 64 and Nintendo Game Boys. Perhaps the band was described best by the founder of The Pop Aesthetic, Derrick Sanskrit, when he stated that Starscream always, "know[s] exactly when a gentle hand is needed and when a punch to the face is deserved."

In May 2011, Starscream will release, "Future, Towards the Edge of Forever," the bands first properly recorded full length record.
