Sharyn Maceren is the American Singer/Songwriter known first for her Billboard Charting hit single, "Hard to Get" (S Factor) [#32 on the Billboard Maxi-Singles Sales Chart]. This is one of Sharyn's greatest lifetime achievements, as this was a song that she had both written and recorded solely as a teen.
After the release of her first single, Sharyn was launched into the spotlight again with the release of her two Dance/Pop albums titled "Always Dreamin" and "Nighttime Land" (both produced by legendary Gold Record producer— Glenn Gutierrez). "Always Dreamin" contains the radio singles, "When The Record Spins", "In Just One Night", and "A Little More Time"— and the CD "Nighttime Land" includes the singles, "Can U Wait" and "Sweet Nothings." These two albums helped to further catapult her career within the Dance/Pop music scene, and soon you could find her CDs charting internationally.
Though Sharyn initially wanted to start her career by experimenting with different types of Dance and Freestyle music, she also knew from the very beginning that she had yet to fully discover her sound. When it came time to create her latest album “Sunkissed”— it became Sharyn’s intent to learn what that sound was. Her vision resulted in her latest collection, a CD which features Pop/R&B summer jams like “Famous”, “He”, “Baby”, and “All I Want”. Still having a love for the kinds of music that she had created earlier on, you'll also find a new batch of Dance/Pop records like “In The Sunlight” and “Livin’ The Good Life”. Joe Grandberg (Nina Sky) was the producer who helped shape the majority of the album, while Manuel “Sir Elegance” Lopez, Jr. (Adriana, Turntable Tech) produced the signature SM Freestyle track “Endless Summer”.
So, it was yet another big accomplishment when this latest album "Sunkissed" shot up to the #1 spot on the Amazon Best Sellers List (Music/Dance/DJ/Freestyle). The first single released is a California-style Dance/Pop song called "In the Sunlight", and this, too, instantly became a #1 bestseller for Sharyn.
When looking back on how she has been able to accomplish so much of what she has wanted to do, Sharyn says, "Life is so beautiful... when you do what you love. I have been blessed to have the courage to follow my dreams, and I feel even more blessed when I see that my dreams inspire others to follow theirs. So, yeah... dream... and BELIEVE! All things are possible!" — David Rosenberg
