The career of John Vesely, better known as Secondhand Serenade, has come full circle over the last few years. Starting out as an independent artist, Vesely became the #1 Myspace artists before signing on as Glassnote Records' first artist. Soon after, he released the self-produced, acoustic album "Awake". It was that album which hosted the single "Vulnerable". An accompanying video soon followed which was supported by MTV.

The following year (2008) saw the release of Secondhand's first full band album, "A Twist In My Story". The debut single from the disc was a song called "Fall For You" which would wind up hitting the top of the charts and go on to sell over 2 millions units. This newly found success led to worldwide touring, a top 10 spot on iTunes, a slew of late night show performances and endless press around the globe. The single "Your Call" would also follow, which spawned a video that was world premiered on "TRL", and even hit the #1 spot on the channel's top videos.

Following that album, Vesely released another full album (Hear Me Now) and an EP (Weightless) under the Glassnote umbrella, continuing to tour both nationally and internationally.

Once parting with the label in 2011, John took some time off to recharge and then began working on a new album, which was fully funded by his fans via Pledge Music. That album looks to be finished by the end of this year. However, while fans were awaiting the new material, Vesely went back to his acoustic roots and released a re-record of his album "A Twist In My Story", this time with all songs (and an additional new one) produced in a stripped down, acoustic/orchestral way, similar in style to the production of his first album, "Awake". Titled "A Naked Twist In My Story", the album also made its mark on iTunes, peaking at #19 on the Alternative Albums chart.

With a fresh batch of material and a solid worldwide fan base, Secondhand Serenade is in a prime position to have a massive 2013.
