Ruby Goe is a new British singer and songwriter who runs her own indie label Goe Music , a jewellery line ByRogue, and is signed globally to Notting Hill Music Publishing .
Ruby is one of the most talented vocalists and prolific writers in the industry, nailing all styles, and all genres quickly. As an artist and performer, Ruby is equally gifted and talented, and is moving forward in 2013 with her first EP
“A Light” before committing to a global label deal.
In the UK, Ruby’s independently released buzz debut "Get On It" enjoyed BBC Radio 1 Daytime Playlist support and was soon followed by buzz singles "Badman" and "Sq1". All in allRuby independently featured on 5 singles that got Radio 1 play in 2012, got UK National TV exposure on BBC TV 2, support from Channel 4, 4Music, MTV , The Box, Capital, Kiss, XFM, SBTV, Channel AKA , Q Radio, plus Pitchfork, Nylon, Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Modik, Grazia, NME, Daily Mirror, PopJustice and NME.
Ruby's innovative brand partnership with fashion brand PUMA helped fund her buzz singles as an independent artist. "Badman", produced by Andy Chatterly (Kanye West, Kylie Minogue) impacted UK radio and made global waves digitally. The video crossed the Atlantic and caught the attention of MTV in New York , who ran 4 separate front page features on her . 2013 kicked off with Ruby’s tracks “Get On It” and “Avenge My Heart” being chosen by VH-1’ for placement and promo their hit US show “Love and Hip-Hop” , following on from her co-write “Shoot Me Down” gaming sync on popular Xbox/Playstation car racing game. “Dirt Showdown”.
Ruby also appeared on many tastemaker New Artists One To Watch lists for 2013 including MTV District and Fred Perry Subculture.
