Rogue Valley is a 4-6 piece folk-rock band based in Minneapolis, MN. Formed in 2010, the band released and recorded a four-album cycle in one year's time. Each album corresponded with a season; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Following a series of release shows that were both conceptually unique (featuring video, dance, poetry, and additional ensembles) and embraced by local radio and audiences, in late 2011 and early 2012 Rogue Valley toured to the West Coast twice, and to the East Coast once. In the fall of 2012 the band released a vinyl compilation, a collection of twelve favorite songs from the 46-song Seasons project. Currently, the band is preparing for a residency in Northern Minnesota where they will be working with students on songwriting and performing in rural school districts. Another trip out west is on the horizon for October 2013, and the band is spending time in the studio working on songs for a follow-up to the Seasons Albums that is influenced by big drums and surf-guitars.
