About Resorte

Mexican four-piece band Resorte burst into the local scene standing out strongly as one of the leading acts of the late '90s. Performing a funk-metal style similar to major international acts such as Korn, Disturbed, and Papa Roach, the band released República de Ciegos in 1999, later performing successfully at Bogota's Festival Rock al Parque. The following year, Resorte moved to Los Angeles, CA, to work with producer Jason Roberts. To support 2000's XL, the band started touring America while its video "Caliente" was climbing on the MTV Latino's Top 20. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
