One of Hawaii's foremost singers, Rachel Asebido has been, along with Bobbee English and Gwen Gusman, a member of popular Hawaiian-pop trio Kaleo O Kalani. Her solo career has paralleled her involvement with the trio. In 1974 she had a successful solo hit, "Eres Tu (Touch the Wind)," which she sang in Spanish.
