Born into a family with diverse roots of Caribbean flavor, American spirit, and open-minded and worldly perspectives, Rachael’s approach to art and music reflect these influences. Soulfully deep lyrics pour out of this young woman’s heart as she captures you with her soulful beautiful voice. A classically trained musician and vocalist since childhood Rachael has wowed audiences worldwide. A multitalented individual, before she even started singing at a young age Rachael drew fashion and art, and later added dance, acting, songwriting, and composing to her list of things she loves doing. She has appeared on JJ on Atlanta on Peachtree TV, been a finalist on Magic Atlanta’s Sweet Auburn Music Festival Radio Contest, been a performer at Sweet Auburn Music Festival, debuted as the lead role in Georgia State Opera, and won first place in the GA NATS competition. Exercising her talents in acting her film credits include the leading role and composer in the short film “Blythe” by Tell The Tale Productions, and the role of Diane in the online webseries “Dream: The Urban Musical” by Theshay West Productions.
While only 10 years old she began writing songs and telling stories and writing uplifting lyrics sharing the world that she saw around her. An old soul, her aim was to do music and the arts as a way to give back to the world, and today she still does. Some of her most influential artist are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Lauryn Hill, India.Arie, Norah Jones, and many more of such a high caliber. Singing in choirs since small and participating in instrumental ensembles while in college Rachal is not a newcomer to the stage.
At the age of only 21 Rachael started her own entertainment company using her skills in photography and video along with fashion and music to launch her career and that of others. She has directed her own short films, music videos, and designed and created her own fashion line. Rachael is not afraid to be all that she can be. She approaches life with a joie de vivre and doesn’t plan on stopping.
Music has always been at the forefront of her life as she has gotten to work with some of the best musicians in the Atlanta area including singer-songwriter Elise Witt, bassist Kevin Smith, pianist Louis Heriveaux, trumpet player and singer Joe Gransden, and others. When you see her live in concert it’s impossible not to be bewitched by her deep lyrics, soaring voice, and obvious musical prowess. Recently she has joined forces with other musical geniuses to work on a musical compilation of songs and take on her first tour. “We are all searching for our own integrity and I try to share what I find through my music and creations. As an artist I always strive to be me, and all that encompasses. I grew up singing and listening to an array of music; so I don’t limit myself when creating music.” You definitely can sense the presence of sincerity, greatness, vitality, empowerment, and inspiration when this young lady takes the stage.
