About Queen Mother Rage

Queen Mother Rage was a member of the Blackwatch Committee, a collective consisting of activists, writers, and musicians led by X-Clan frontman Professor X. After contributing to several X-related albums in a small capacity, she released a solo record in 1991 entitled Vanglorious Law. Although her positive Afrocentric lyrics and smooth production (courtesy of fellow Blackwatch member Paradise) predated similar work from Arrested Development, the record quickly disappeared from the charts. She geared up to record a second album in 1992, but when her record label folded, she abandoned the project and left the rap industry. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
