Quincy was born in Ghana West Africa in 1985.At age 7 Quincy would make musical instruments like guitars and drums using empty gallons and buckets and whatever he could lay his hands on. He graduated from high school in Columbus Ohio, then joined the U.S army in 2005 and served in Germany and Iraq. He ...also served in fort Lewis Washington. He was honorably discharged in August 2009 under medical conditions due to an accident in September 2008; He got hit by a truck as he was trying to help a stranded motorist. Although, he survived without any broken bones, he was left with a lifetime of back pain but that isn't enough to stop him from making music and doing what he loves best, “he says". He is now writing and recording his music at central 8 studios in Akron Ohio. Quincy's music has reached the far depths of Ghana, his homeland, and also Great Britain. He writes about love and life as he has had his fair share of life and death situations. “Music makes the world go round", his favorite quote. To Quincy music holds a sentimental value if the lyrics have meaning to it. His first single - From GH - is a projection of where he comes from and his lifestyle. “I will always rep. my country everywhere I go; I'm proud to be African", he says.
