Featuring Big Fuge, Freddie Fresh, Real, and D-Ice, Problem Solvaz make their debut on Mob Hit Records, noteworthy for being a sublabel of the historic Del-Fi label. In fact, Bob Keane executive produces this album -- the same guy who discovered Sam Cooke and Ritchie Valens.
The group was originally known as C.P.R. (Cash Paid Rappers) back in the '80s before Big Fuge joined the crew. They recorded a single with producer Ricoh Hall and released it on Mob Hit Records, back when the label was an indie venture. Having scored local success in Louisiana, the group sent some songs to Keane in Los Angeles, and soon a partnership was underway. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
